Shutter The Movie 2004 Full Version: Le film qui a révolutionné le cinéma d'épouvante asiatique

Bad things always seem to happen to unsuspecting blonde girls when they head East in remakes of Asian Extreme horror movies. SHUTTER -- a remake of a 2004 Thai movie -- is no exception, focusing on the haunting of Jane (Rachael Taylor) by a young Japanese woman's ghost. At first Jane thinks she killed Megumi (Megumi Okina) when she hit her with a car, but she can't convince her photographer husband, Ben (Joshua Jackson), that the accident even happened. It's a rough start to their honeymoon in Tokyo; soon Jane -- a plucky American feeling alienated in the city's crowded streets and neon signage -- starts investigating on her own. And when white blurs start appearing in Ben's photos, Jane researches "spirit photos," which an expert tells her show "strong emotions making themselves heard."

Shutter The Movie 2004 Full Version

"Aileen: Life and Death of a Serial Killer" by Nick Broomfield and Joan Churchill is a painful, unblinking portrait of the real Aileen Wuornos, bringing depth and context to the fictional version of her life in "Monster" and illuminating how brilliantly on target Charlize Theron's performance was in that movie.

The release of 2020's The Grudge, a movie that was originally marketed as a reboot of the 2004 film but was instead a kind of sequel, has a lot of people revisiting this supernatural film. The 2004 version of the movie was based on a Japanese film and both it and the 2020 version of the film follow a vengeful spirit that has attached itself to a residence.

If this movie sounds familiar, it might be thanks to the American remake that was released in 2008 and stars Jessica Alba. But for fans of Asian horror movies, the original version of The Eye that was released in 2002 in Hong Kong is a must-see.

The 2004 film The Grudge was an American remake of this Japanese horror film, Ju-On: The Grudge. The 2020 film was a sequel that takes place during and after the events of this movie and the American remake and is definitely worth watching for anyone that enjoyed either the 2004 or 2020 version of the movie.

Like the 2004 remake, this movie follows a family that faces a horrific tragedy. The intense nature of the crime leaves behind a dark curse on the building in which the family lived and anyone who dares to enter it becomes the target of the pair of vengeful spirits that still call it home.

Dark Water is a Japanese horror film that got an American remake three years after its release, but the 2002 version of the movie is the best one to turn on the subtitles and watch for people that love atmospheric Asian horror films.

Shutter was released in 2004 and is a Thai horror movie that had an American remake released in 2008. But, like many other Asian horror movies, the original is definitely the best one to check out for people that want the most terrifying movie experience possible.

When it comes to American remakes of Asian horror movies, The Ring is among the most popular. Although that version of the film is terrifying, fans of The Grudge should do themselves a favor and watch the movie that inspired it, 1998's Ringu.

While Shutter's anamorphic widescreen presentation does suffer from some minor instances of grain, it's an otherwise crisp and clear picture. There seems to be an almost light green hue to the picture (think The Matrix, but not nearly as saturated), but it's obviously intentional and detracts in no way from the movie. The blacks are wonderfully dark, and I didn't notice any evidence of edge enhancement.

A spokesman for Atari UK has denied that the company will release a new Matrix game to tie in with the launch of the third movie this Christmas, but stated that Shiny will develop new games based on the franchise for release at Christmas 2004 and in 2006. 2ff7e9595c
